SMS Consent Flow

Proposed JNautomations pilot flow — pending final A2P campaign and legal review

This page publicly documents how a person may provide affirmative permission to receive customer-care text messages from JNautomations at (858) 758-7562: by pressing 1 during an inbound telephone call after hearing the complete SMS disclosure. A call by itself does not authorize text messages.

Inbound telephone opt-in

The customer voluntarily calls JNautomations. Before any automated SMS or MMS is sent, the automated call flow presents the following disclosure:

“Thank you for calling JNautomations. We can send text messages to this number about your current service request, including follow-up questions and requests for additional service information. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Press 1 to agree.”

How the telephone flow works

  1. The customer voluntarily calls JNautomations at (858) 758-7562 about a current service request or inquiry.
  2. JNautomations’ automated call flow presents the complete disclosure above before any automated SMS or MMS is sent.
  3. The caller presses 1 to provide affirmative consent. Silence, no response, or an invalid response does not authorize SMS.
  4. Only a valid Press-1 event, successfully associated with the call and stored as a consent record, may authorize the first customer-care text.
  5. The first message confirms enrollment and identifies JNautomations. Later messages remain limited to the same active inquiry or service request.
  6. The customer may reply STOP or make another clear request to stop. Replying HELP provides assistance.

Fail-closed rule

No affirmative input means no automated text. Silence, no response, an invalid response, a disconnected call, an interrupted disclosure, or failure to store the consent event leaves messaging unauthorized.

Consent evidence

For telephone consent, JNautomations intends to retain a record tying the affirmative Press-1 event to the caller number, JNautomations number, date and time, call identifier, disclosure version, consent purpose, and messaging campaign. Final retention periods remain subject to legal and operational review.

Messaging scope

Messages are limited to customer care for the current inquiry, such as follow-up questions, requests for additional service information or photos, and responses to customer questions. This consent does not authorize unrelated marketing or promotional messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase or service.
